Dragon Ball Z is the one greatest anime series ever created. With its action-packed universe and compelling storylines, Akira Toriyama's magnum opus has never failed to please. This is the latest season set FUNimation has released of the series.

This set picks up where the last one left off. The Z-Fighters, in addition to having to put up with the newfound threat from Dr. Gero's Androids, makes an unwelcome discovery. An exact duplicate of the time machine Trunks came to the present-day timeline in has been discovered, along with a mysterious egg. Before long, the Z-Fighters are face-to-face with a threat even more dangerous than the Androids - Cell. Another Dr. Gero creation, Cell is a semi-organic creature also made by Dr. Gero, using biological samples taken from the Z-Fighters, and a few of their old foes as well. And with each human being he absorbs and kills, he gains more powerful. He is on a quest to find the other Androids, as absorbing them will greatly increase his power, and allow him to transform to even more powerful states. Now the Z-Fighters have not one menace on their hand, but two.

The DVD set is divided amongst six discs, and contains the complete Imperfect and Perfect Cell Sagas (though curiously, not the Cell Games saga.) The picture has been subjected to digital noise reduction, and the set includes a booklet of character profiles and episode listings.

Finally...all the Dragon Ball Z seasons and episodes at an affordable price and excellent quality. They are cropped, but I can hardly tell the difference and if you own an HDTV with an upconverting player (PS3) it looks amazing. This season will be nothing less than stellar, don't know why they didn't include the cell games though. Looking forward to one of the best sagas in Dragon Ball Z history!
