With more than 25 million copies sold, the hit manga has finally been adapted into two live-action feature film directed by Shusuke Kaneko, well known for the popular, Gamera, monster series of films.
Death Note was published in Japan in July 2006, more than $ extrapolation * 28 * million against 2.3 million tickets sold.
