This apparel is worth the money. The GE headbands are much better quality than those from Mattel / Hasbro, even if the choice in style is more limited. These look more «real», something that someone would want in reality and not just wear a costume piece.
The metal plate is solid aluminum and held in place with 6 smooth head rivets. It comes pre-shape, but aluminum is fairly soft metal that can be reshaped to fit your head as you want. The symbol is stamped on that, not simply a wand for decal-like other brands, so you no longer need to worry about rubbing off over time. The plate of a fairly large, probably greater than those of the show, but still seems more «real» after that assumed to be «front prostate». It shows fingerprints rather easily, but wipe off equally clear.
The cloth is a polyester / cotton blend, double-layered for durability, and approximately 34 "long overall. Smaller children could belted I, as did some in the show, but for most it is only a headband. There is a strip of cloth on the back of the headband, behind the plate, which protects the forehead from being rubbed raw by rivets.
Overall this is a great accessory and a must buy for anyone interested in Naruto costuming or just to see it broadly.
