Inuyasha Season 6 revolves around Inu Yasha's group and their final trial of getting the final shard before Naraku does and since Naraku has become more stronger than ever the quest has become that more dangerous. And of course we can't forget Sesshomaru and his own little group and his own mysterious agenda. The box set does only have the episodes 127-146 so all us fans will have to wait until Viz finally releases the seventh box set hopefully early next year. As with the Inu yasha universe you have most of the episodes be very dramatic but there are humorous episodes and scenes that will also make them light-hearted similar a little to series like Bleach and Naruto. The video is clear and sharp like the other season box sets and the audio is great again the voice cast for both the Japanese/English cast did a incredible job for their characters.

The chapters are like general topics; Love, Relationships, Aging, School, War, Power, etc. Inside the chapters are subsections, these are the individual lessons. Chapter 12 is titled 'Power', the first subsection is 'All Powerful things must have a seal' Then there's a couple humorous (but true) paragraphs about how anything powerful has a seal proportionate to it's strength, and then he gives some examples. There were some funny sections (Why women with unnaturally colored hair are appealing), some serious ones (War and Good vs. Evil) and some that hit a little too close to home.
It was surprisingly well written, but not difficult to understand. It is easy to read & very informative. This is a book for the anime people, who are usually misunderstood, and he's obviously a person who can see things from their pont of view.

This book is a recommended book for any high schooler who likes anime, and may be having a tough time adjusting to life in general. This is turning into a book itself so...

His parents are sick of it, so they kick him out of the house. He goes to seek refuge at his grandmother's hotel, but he doesn't know it has been converted into an all-girl's dorm. So, through a series of misunderstandings and unfortunate events, he becomes manager to a group of girls who hate him, overwork him, and think he's a pervert. Stumbing into a fluke job at an all-girls dormitory may be his last chance. In the series that inspired the new hit anime, Love Hina proves that love conquers all. Even stupidity.

"Love Hina" was originally intended to be filler for a weekly shounen manga anthology, meant only to run until they could find something better to use up the space. Somehow, it managed to run long enough to take up 14 full graphic novels and was popular enough to spawn a twenty-four episode TV show, an OAV series, and a music video. The reason it did so is obvious: "Love Hina" succeeds in so many ways.

Each character has their flaws and strengths, and is all-around endearing. Keitaro is a nice but chronically unlucky protagonist. He means well, but he just does so many things by accident that he's labeled a pervert. Those labels are justified, but completely inaccurate. Of course, the residents of the dorm are all fun and interesting. There's Naru Narusegawa, the pretty but slightly dorky girl with a violent streak; Mitsune Konno, a tricky, voluptuous and rather lazy woman whose nickname "Kitsune" comes from more than her fox face; Shinobu Maehara, a sweet, somewhat shy junior high schooler with excellent housekeeping skills; Motoko Aoyama, a boy-hating high school kendo master; and Suu Kaolla, a strange, foreign child genius with an endless arsenal of strange inventions.

"Love Hina" is an excellent series for something for most. Being shounen, it caters to fanboys with fan service, ecchi humor, and cute girls. But for everyone else, there is an interesting plot, fun characters, lovely art, and a story you can truly invest yourself in. Buying the first volume will secure your buying the rest of the series.

Avatar The Last Airbender: Book 3, Volume 1 is an unusual series of episodes of Avatar canon, as most programs are even more comic than usual. Not that the five shows included on this disc lack of seriousness: the long series is now young Aang (once and future avatar to gather everyone distances four countries) and their traveling companions behind enemy lines fire Nation, disguised as settlers. In "Awakening," Aang is raised - with a surprising headful of black hair - several weeks of unconsciousness (due to injuries sustained during a battle for Ba Sing Se) taken aboard a warship Fire Nation. Although there are old friends Sokka, Toph, and close to Katara, he urged everyone not to take matters into their own hands, ultimately, Aang feels compelled to go head to head with the Fire Lord before he is ready. The result forces Aang and the others to remain incognito, the creation of further episodes in which the heroes are forced to lay low and find something else to do their time, besides struggle against opponents. In "The Headband", Aang is part of a Fire Nation school, where his eyes are open to ordinary experience, such as dealing with a campus of intimidation and a difficult time of strict teachers. In "The Painted Lady", Aang, Sokka, Katara, and Toph visit an poor fishing village and have to repress their typical instinct to help to be recognized as foreign. "Sokka's Master," in any way the episode more enjoyable here, said Sokka feeling useless because it does not have powers similar to their peers. His solution: talk a master swordsman into taking him on as an apprentice. Finally, the most unexpected story of this collection is "The Beach" in which Prince ZUKO, Azula, Mai and Ty Lee - who are all back in the Fire Nation, too - take an awkward holiday but end up learning a lot about one another.

Meanwhile, ZUKO - expanded on his exile from the Fire Nation - discovers that his father host again, but only through the manipulation of his sister, Princess Azula said incorrectly that Zuko killed Aang. Fearing that his father did not know yet, ZUKO chooses not to tell the truth and works by killing Aang in silence. If ZUKO have been more of a complete human being during his exile, is back for another monster up duty to maintain his uncle, Iroha, in a dark, damp prison.

Nightmares and Daydream "is an anxious Aang unable to sleep and stop hallucinating before the battle, while a part of" The Day of Black Sun" sees the start of the allies' invasion of the fire nation. A lot of surprises in this last episode, with a Cliffhanger ending that makes the next volume Avatar desirable.

At the beginning of Avatar The Last Airbender: Book 3 Fire, Vol 3, things do not go quite the way one might have hoped at the end of the Volume 2. Aang - the young avatar - and his disciples Katara, Toph, and Sokka part of a broad attack against the tyrannical fire nation, and the hope of victory was high. In "The Day of Black Sun, Part 2: The Eclipse," but the circumstances turn hero fortune, forcing Aang, his friends and very young fighters fleeing the battle. Since the Assembly of the Western Air Temple, mourning should arrest adults left behind, Aang is facing an unexpected, would be combined: ZUKO, prince of the nation fire. Sokka and Katara refuse to accept Zuko's guarantee that he is really on their side (they were before it), but Toph and Aang are a little more receptive to the idea. Good stuff. In "The Firebending Masters," Aang accepts that Zuko could be the firebending mentor he needs to show him how to conquer the most elusive of the four elements. But it is not easy,Zuko's power is lost and must take refuge in a fire nation temple, where he can learn the origins of his native gift. The series of five stories on this disc ends with the two-part "The Boiling Rock", where Sokka and ZUKO infiltrate a fire nation maximum security prison in the hope of releasing Sokka's father. Trying hard to stay clandestine, ZUKO yet revealed the identity, it is not only the mission butZuko and Sokka's very freedom. Tensions are endless in the long series of avatars and development (especially Zuko's acceptance by Aang and the others) are equally heartening that surprising.

The long series Avatar The Last Airbender comes to a stunning conclusion in the Book 3 Fire, Volume 4. In the spring of a large number of episodes (as seen in previous volumes) to go to war against the tyrannical Fire Nation, the young Avatar Aang and his family must now bring down the fire Lord and his army, or watch them increase their destructive forces during an imminent solar eclipse. But there is a long-term Aang can not answer: Is the Avatar, which has never killed anyone, gets to take the Fire Lord's life? That is what he should do, according ZUKO, fire-Prince, who started in his lot with Aang and his friends.

While Aang is sorting that out - to receive different wisdom of the past avatars and advice from a giant turtle-lion creature - Zuko and Katara take another part of the struggle to cope with the Zuko's crazy sister. Meanwhile, Sokka reiterates his command latent talent for dangerous missions, as he and the earth-Bender Toph attempted sabotage of the Fire Nation airships. The final episodes on this disc is exciting, especially because they were so long to arrive. Before them, however, there are some interesting chapters to pass through, including "The Southern Raiders" when Katara attempt to avenge the death of his mother. As always, there are some comic elements, in this case "The Island Players" in which our heroes face the ignominy of seeing some of their previous adventures is a ridiculous, stagged play.

Rurouni Kenshin - TV Series Season One - Review

Rurouni Kenshin is another of the great classics of Anime. It combines several major elements (love, philosophy, and action) to form a story that is entertaining while still captivating and profound.

While there is some violence, this is a rare gem among anime in that there is nothing perverse or offensive thrown in to water it down. It sticks to its purpose and doesn't pander to baser interests.

Rurouni Kenshin's story spends the right amount of time developing its characters, keeping the cast relatively small so the series isn't devoted to constant introductions, but large enough for variety. It then leaves itself plenty of time to explore its characters and their past, and does a good job of moving between them.

Perhaps most interesting is the philosophy. Samurai are famous for being "poet warriors", possessing both a fighting spirit and a sense of deeper truths. This is expressed beautifully in Kenshin's persona and behavior, not merely in speech, but in his methods and actions.

Rurouni Kenshin can be the great anime because of following reasons:

Survival is the order of the day as Yusuke and his allies face off against the worst that the Demon World has to offer. Locked into a competition set up by the criminal underground more than the fighters' lives are on the line as the Dark Tournament unfolds round by brutal round. Pain and suffering are redefined a demon from the past is reawakened and the mysterious masked fighter will step forth. Their situation is worse than grim as the Tournament Finals are set to begin.

"Yu Yu Hakusho's" first season ended with Yusuke and his buddies coming to the Dark Tournament, determined to fight their way to the finals, and defeat Toguro's team.

So it's pretty clear what the second season consists of -- a string of one-on-one fights, with Yusuke and his buddies fighting a series of increasingly dangerous enemies. There's not a great deal of central plot beyond this, but the evolving powers of Team Urameshi -- as well as some cloak-and-dagger machinations -- keep things interesting.

After Kuwabara barely survives his opening bout with the creepy child Rinku, his teammates square off against other members of Team Rokuyukai -- Kurama is blackmailed during his bout and must use his wits to survive, Yusuke dukes it out with a drunken warrior, and Hiei unleashes a devastating fire attack called Dragon of the Darkness Flame.

But things take a nasty turn when they fight Team Ichigaki, a group of human martial artists being controlled by a malignant scientist. The kindhearted Kuwabara can't bring himself to hurt three innocents even if they are out to kill him -- and the mysterious Masked Fighter may be their only hope. But Team Urameshi aren't done yet -- first they must fight a lethal gang of ninja demons, then a bunch of "fairy tale" figures with lethal talents. But one of those talents causes an unexpected change in Kurama.

Meanwhile, the Masked Fighter reveals her true identity, and puts Yusuke through his final test, which will give him enough power to go head-to-head with Toguro... if it doesn't kill him first. But then Toguro commits a shocking murder, and Yusuke becomes determined to fight and kill him -- now out of revenge, rather than fear. But does Team Urameshi really have a chance to defeat Team Toguro?

The first season of "Yu Yu Hakusho" basically consisted of a string of smaller adventure arcs, with Yusuke working to vanquish the villain of the week. But the second series takes a very different format -- instead we get a series of one-on-one fights. It sounds a bit monotonous, but the various superpowers -- and some interesting side subplots -- keep it from being so.

The fights themselves are pretty colorful -- killer plants, ice, blood, magic capes, fire dragons, tiny tornados, killer robots, and a box that deages its victim. So needless to say, the battles are fairly interesting and there's really no way of telling how some of them will turn out. The whole subplot about Dr. Ichigaki and his helpless guinea pigs is pretty wrenching, although the ending is a bit limp.

But equally interesting are the stories outside the ring -- Toguro and his equally villainous partner Sakyo are doing some behind-the-scenes scheming, and cause a little bloodbath of their own. It adds a bit of spice to Team Urameshi's forthcoming battles with Team Toguro, because a lot more than their lives are now riding on their victory.

Yusuke has a lot of growth in this particular season -- not only is he a top-notch fighter, but he also struggles to absorb a new source of power from an old friend. And he gets his Spirit Beast, which turns out to be... a blue penguin with spaniel ears. But when someone close to him dies, Yusuke's rage and anger are pretty palpable.

His friends also have some power-ups -- Hiei trains himself to exhaustion, so he can master his new technique. And though he usually uses wits and plants alone, Kurama briefly turns back into a cold-blooded, silver-haired demon fox. Kuwabara is the only one who doesn't change much, but he serves as the kind heart of the team -- and some comic relief, such as when he sees his beloved Yukina watching his fight.

The second season of "Yu Yu Hakusho" is basically an escalating string of supernatural fights, but it's colorful enough to not be monotonous -- and the grand finale promises to be even more so.

D. Miller "Derek Fawaz" watched Afro Samurai on Spike TV back in January when they showed the edited episodes. D. Miller "Derek Fawaz" has to say he was thrilled when he found out they were coming out with the director's cut of the production with an extended ending because D. Miller "Derek Fawaz" could not get over how bland the show was on TV. For those of you who thought that Afro Samurai was a rushed anime and never really had any substance, well the director's cut fixes that. Spike not only cut out the mature content but they also cut out a lot of the scenes to make room for a half hour time lapse. In his opinion the director's cut made Afro and the rest of the characters have more substance attached them. Plus in the director's cut the picture and sound is restored to intended form which makes this anime even more beautiful. But aside from the director's cut features, yes a lot of you are saying that Afro should have had more substance and be able to talk more than his jabber of a sidekick Ninja Ninja, but considering all that he went through in his life as a boy pulled out of innocence and straight into the world of killing, you wouldn't want to speak much neither. The anime is different and has many redeemable qualities with its characters and story and handles the mixture of old feudal Japan with modern future. It is also a story about what happens when revenge comes between you and your friends and how power can destroy everything you care about.
Afro Samurai is a creative story, with creative characters that was thought up by Takashi Okasaki and for those of you who are planning on watching it; D. Miller's advice is get the complete anime and thats the director's cut because the edited version is just the series cut up and spliced together into a rushed mess.

Fettster "Fett" said that Season 7 is an essential part of the DBZ collection seeing as how it ties the end of the Cell Saga and beginning of the Buu saga together. The episodes may be most non-serious of the series, but they are there for a reason. He give suggestion to pick up our copy when its released if we have been collecting from Season One
Fettster "Fett" also wrote the short story of Dragon Ball Z: Season Seven.

Season 7 takes place after the drool-worthy ending to the Cell games in which Gohan obliterates Cell with his one-handed Kamehameha wave.

Now a few years later Gohan is ready to start High School which means no more home school from Chi Chi.

However, directly before this Goku takes part in a filler martial arts tournament from beyond the grave and we get to see Frieza, King Cold, The Ginyu Force and even Cell again one more time. The final battle of the tournament is Goku (duh) vs. Pikkon under supervision of the Grand Kai. This part honestly has nothing to do with the overall plot of the series and was just a filler section before the next arc starts.

Back to Gohan (and the actual story). Gohan is on his way to school, sees a robbery, and transforms to a SSJ to beat his enemies in a flash.

Now the whole town is going on about the "Gold Fighter". So, in order to draw attention from his new superhero Gohan creates another superhero with a disguise so people won't know its him. He creates probably the most godawful yet super hilarious costume and character. He calls himself the "Great Saiyaman" and does little dances to intimidate the enemy.

If somebody who has never watched DBZ sees these episodes as their introduction into the series they probably would turn away immediately, but believe me this part is not THAT bad. I would honestly rather watch this part of the series 5 times in a row than sit through GT again.

Gohan goes to meet Videl, daughter of Hercule, at school and befriends her. She eventually discovers his true identity and in order to prevent blackmail Gohan teaches her how to fly. Goten and Trunks also achieve SSJ while training.

Season 7 might dwell into the World Martial Arts Tournament that takes place next, but probably not very far if it does. Basically mid way through the tournament is when the next Saga starts and we learn of the new deadly threat to the world. Majin Buu.

Dragon Ball Z is the one greatest anime series ever created. With its action-packed universe and compelling storylines, Akira Toriyama's magnum opus has never failed to please. This is the latest season set FUNimation has released of the series.

This set picks up where the last one left off. The Z-Fighters, in addition to having to put up with the newfound threat from Dr. Gero's Androids, makes an unwelcome discovery. An exact duplicate of the time machine Trunks came to the present-day timeline in has been discovered, along with a mysterious egg. Before long, the Z-Fighters are face-to-face with a threat even more dangerous than the Androids - Cell. Another Dr. Gero creation, Cell is a semi-organic creature also made by Dr. Gero, using biological samples taken from the Z-Fighters, and a few of their old foes as well. And with each human being he absorbs and kills, he gains more powerful. He is on a quest to find the other Androids, as absorbing them will greatly increase his power, and allow him to transform to even more powerful states. Now the Z-Fighters have not one menace on their hand, but two.

The DVD set is divided amongst six discs, and contains the complete Imperfect and Perfect Cell Sagas (though curiously, not the Cell Games saga.) The picture has been subjected to digital noise reduction, and the set includes a booklet of character profiles and episode listings.

I was very interested on this dragon ball z season six after i read review from Midnight Priestess. She said that she has been in love with the whole Dragon Ball Z series since she was 10 years old. The first episodes se ever saw were of the fight between SonGoku and Captain Ginyu. She couldn't believe it when they said they were releasing the seasons in box sets and have been in anticipation for the following set ever since she bought Season 1 and Season 6 is NOT the exception. She can't wait to see SonGohan go SS2 in Hi-Def, remastered and uncut! The seasons only get better from here!

If anything, give it a try. Midnight Priestess guarantee you'll never see another anime like it. Well with the exception of Dragon Ball (the prequel to Dragon Ball Z but it doesn't have to be seen to understand Dragon Ball Z) and Dragon Ball GT (the sequel to Dragon Ball Z. It's a good continuation of the characters' lives... but nowhere near as good as Dragon Ball Z).

Trust me! Dragon Ball Z is a famous must-see anime! Mandatory to anyone who adore remotely interested in anime!

Inuyasha and friends are running a little short of money and food and need a place to ply Miroku patented fake exorcisms a rich fool. But it turns out they may not have to compensate a ghost this time as a strange intruder was rich to steal houses and taking any valuables. Somewhere, this thief is able to penetrate even the most impenetrable security. In exchange for food and shelter, the group is committed to catching criminals, whether human or demon. After that the first two parts of a story several episode reached on the next volume which has some links with the modern world. In this, Kagome is informed by his classmate, Hojo, that one of its ancestors Inuyasha is time Akitoki, married a girl named Kagome! Would not you know that when Kagome returns to the feudal era, it empties into the same ancestor. Akitoki is on a quest to purify the "Kon Blade", a cursed demonic weapon that his family is sworn to protect. But when a gang of ninja demons early attack, he seeks the help of Inuyasha and friends.

Anytime Shippo is the hero of an episode, it is fine by me, because you always know you for a laugh, as reflected in the first episode on this disc. You really feel for the child, because under its surface finished cowardice, it is a brave heart that the bigger than its size. It is still a little frustrating that Kagome can not she really likes. She wondered even if it was his destiny to marry the bumbling Akitoki. So much for loyalty. There are fighting and the establishment of another gay demon, but this show is on the strength of its characters so that the plot seems incidental. In fact, there is not much ground, just conflict.

Inuyasha and Kagome's journey continues as they search for fragments of the Shikon Jewel with their friends Miroku, Shippo, Kirara and Sango. But the task is not easy when Naraku keep coming with the intrigues of new traps to prevent them from making the jewel shards. The adventures of battles in the rivalry between brothers and sisters, journey through the quest against demons in this second season of Inuyasha.

I think if you go buy a large collection to introduce someone lively and May this be the one to choose. Now it is available in a collected (and affordable), the second season is a grand prix.

There is barely a mediocre episode in the lot, and even less bad. Highpoint follows culmination of arm-wrestling at the castle Naraku, combat with the wind Sorceress Kargura, Wolf-Demon Koga, Goshinki mind-reading, strange Juromaru and Kageromaru, and powerful Ryukotsusei. The quarrel with Sesshomaru continues, and we see that Inu Yasha full-demon brother is perhaps not completely evil. Sango bear a lot of pain, both physical and emotional, but fighting, Kagome and begins to adapt to the dangers of the world, she discovered. It is much less helpless in a season. And Kikyo is even more enigmatic than in the first season, though complex, with a perspective that is neither human or demon.

The 2nd season is, in my opinion the best of the best animated programs ever undertaken.

Based on the manga by Rumiko Takahashi, the creator of Ranma 1 / 2 and Urusei yatsura, Inu Yasha-TV series (2000) mixes elements of Japanese folklore and knowledge of the devices in a lively mixture of imagination of humour and adventure, a very entertaining series that falls into cliché. Top of the first season of 27 episodes, Kagome Higurashi, a normal 15-year-old girl, falls on a dry well - and is in the feudal past, 50 years after his ancestress Kikyo the imprisoned half-human/half-demon Inu - Yasha. As the reincarnation of Kikyo, Kagome has a magical jewel that greatly increases the power of demons. Kagome irons Inu Yasha-with the help of his ancestor-priestess Kaede, and when the jewel is broken and Kagome-Inu Yasha is allied to recover fragments.

The series begins to hit its heels when Kagome and Inu-Yasha, while quarrels, however, be an effective team against the demons they encounter in the Warring States kingdom. Two new characters create complications. Shippo, a fox spirit orphan, meets Kagome and Inu-Yasha in the Warring States Period. As the rich tapestry, Kagome and Myoga begin exploring the origins and nature of the Sacred Jewel, which radiates power still brings misery to everyone who approaches. The source of gem is proving to be the demon-killers village. Inu-Yasha, Kagome, their friends and learn how Jewel was established long ago in a battle between hordes of monstrous demons and Midoriko, the high priestess of age. But the jewel is also a mini-battlefield between good and evil: a metaphor for the world - and Inu Yasha-heart, as he vacillates between selfishness and goodness.

Serenity told me that first of all for those writing negative reviwes shame on you!! This is a review on the ENTIRE season not on a few episodes you watched!! You cant get a good perspective that way....please readers...pay those bias remarks no mind and take head of a real review like the one in the spotlight and my own.

This season is awesome!! At first Serenity was unsure of Inu Yasha having only seen a few episodes and not sure what it was about but then having gotten more experiance with it and seeing more episodes i fell in love and got this boxset of the first season. It is a wonderful series filled with what all amimes should have...action, comedy, romance, and great edge of your seat battels!! No one battels as fine as inuyasha and no characters are more deep than what you find in this series. Each character posses a flaw that contributes to the series and their character making it a fantastic anime.

If you are a fan of the works of Rumiko Takehashi then you are sure to fall in love. Inu Yasha i s a series you cannot go wrong with! Serenity has watched A LOT of anime and Inu Yasha is definatly a favorite of mine.

What is alos great about this set that it comes in the original japanese with the english subtitles which are very accurate in their translation. VIZ is def. a well renowed translator and ditributor of goood anime. You can def. trust thier translations. If you dont like japanese then you can watch it in good ol' english and laugh away as Inu Yasha tries to clobber shippo or tries to understand Kagome. There are no too many special features but you can watch the beginning and ending with out the text which is pretty cool and you get a cast and relationship chart.

This season is great!! Do not listen to those bias twits! They havent seen enough to truly love the series! Before the the ones on this page this box set had a perfect review with 5 stars! Read more reviews if you still need convincing...but Inu Yasha is good....no doubt about it.

In Affections Touching Across Time (2001), Kahvihuone the demo Menomaru will seek to recover powers of his father, who was defeated Inu-Yasha's father tried during the Mongol invasion of 1274. The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass (2002) evokes the Japanese legend of "Tale of the Bamboo Cutter," when the Kaguya, arguing that the show is legendary Moon Princess. Swords, honorable ruler (2003) reveals that the Inu-Yasha's father, the Great Dog Demon is not in possession of two but three of swords: Tetsusaiga, Tenseiga, and Sounga, in relation to Earth, heaven and hell, respectively. When the Sounga is accidentally released its aura raises the soul Takemaru, the Samurai who were murdered on Inu-Yasha's mother. Roisto on Fire-Mystic Island (2004) are the Four War Gods, a high level of demons and the island of Houraijima to maintain and increase their power by sacrificing the half-demon children. The later films are darker and more violent, even though the leaders balance the mayhem against the well-known comedic elements, in particular, Kagome, and Inu-Yasha squabbling. Features all reflect a larger budgets than the TV series, such as the filmmakers use a variety of CG effects: explosions, lightning bolts, insects, monsters and strangling the roots of trees. Affections Touching Across Time stands out as the handsomest, movies, models, which suggest that the woodblock prints of Kawase Hasui. The set includes a CD-Rs, movie soundtracks, and the booklet, which is a traditional Japanese instruments, they feature, even though more information about the composer Kaoru Wada would have been nice. A is a new, Inu-Yasha fans.

Bztold me that this is a very nice box set. If you don't want to wait for the rerun from TV, this box set is a pretty good bargain for $30 bucks. There are some extra in the set but nothing is special. Bz would like to see some interview with the casts but there is none in this box set.

The package is ok but it is kinda tough to get the disc out. You can easily break the disc when you try to "pry" it out from the case.

Story wise, Bz is sorry to say that there isn't anything new added to the TV series. The movies are just yet another side quests. They are ok but not great. If you have seen it once, you have seen it all kinda thing.

The only thing Bz doesn't like about the movies is that the characters from the first 3 movies are not drawn like the original characters from the TV series. The characters from the first 3 movies look bad. The characters from the TV series are full of life with emotion you can see from their facial expression. They are very well animated for TV. Unfortunately, the characters from the movies are like bad cartoons that are badly animated (rather than good "anime"). For instance, Kagura looks like a kid from Gundam Seed rather than looks like a beautiful woman from the TV series. Lord Sesshomaru doesn't look like a "lord". He looks like a punk instead. The 4th movie, on the other hand, is a little bit better animated and look closer to the characters from the TV series.

DynomiteWins said that "Inuyasha: Complete Movies Box Set (2002)" is such a great deal considering that each movie sold on it's own is about $15. You get all 4 movies for $30, with some fun extras and the options of watching in Japanese or English. There is another movie box set out there that is much more expensive and the only difference is a set of soundtrack CDs. The soundtrack is pretty impressive, but wasn't necessary for my personal use.

The movies themselves are fun - much like longer filler episode arcs with interesting villains and story lines. It's not meant to help the Naraku storyline progress, but you'll be in for some fun (especially if, like me, you've already watched the InuYasha TV episodes multiple times and are looking for something new and fun starring your favorite dog demon and Japanese school girl.)

The animation is different from the TV show - to me the characters look more "cutesy" but my husband, who is not that interested in the InuYasha series, enjoyed watching some of the major battle scenes and thought that the battle sequences were animated better.

Now all we have to do is wait for that final end-all fifth InuYasha movie, and we'll all be happy.

Buttons started watching the earlier episodes of this anime when He found out Season 5 was being released. Buttons love this whole series but the early relationship between InuYasha and Kagome is frustrating. Buttons hate the episodes where inuyasha chooses Kikyo over Kigome. Buttons pretty much fast forward through them. Inuyasha Season 5 is so good. There are many cute moments between Kagome and InuYasha. The episode where inuyasha cry's and the episode with the river of fire are among Buttons' favorites. The action in this season is also excellent. There are no filler episodes for this season. The gang of seven are the best villains this series has had so far (including Naraku)! If you have made it too 99 keep going because you will be very happy with this one.

Gundam Wing Zero Extended Msia Xxxg-00w0 Action Figure

The Mobile Suit Hajime Katoki is the recasting of Gundam Wing Zero, designed for the film Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz. The Mobile Suit is predominantly white, four major sports, feathered wings, double beam Sabres (green) and the massive Twin Buster rifle for which the Wing Zero is famous. The base is largely blue, with small portions of red (second abdominal segment, the "beard", the basis for the next, the upper basin of the town, the end of the forearm and on the basis of foot ). The model is very detailed, especially the wings. Its various joints are very stable way, and it can be done to keep it raises as many other models simply sag if such manoeuvres have been forced. The paint job is very good, there is almost no bleeding, and said the painting is the perfect balance between matte and shiny, it seems very realistic. The only area where I am not satisfied with the ankle joints are, the avant garde joined curiously, and they are not mesh well with the rest of mechs legs. Small disadvantage, si.

This model comes with at least a dozen interchangeable parts (Attention, small children. In fact, I think most of them are too small to be swallowing ...). The Vulcan cannons covered on the shoulders can be switched to open the Twin Buster Rifle can detach packaging and are replaced by a unified version when the gun is combined in his unit, along with handles, and has at least eight hands to be used in various combinations. The Sabres beam can be stored in the rear wing joints, and they are slightly underrepresented and too bright, in my opinion, but it is a small inconvenience. The blades are green. The rear wings are installed collapsed and can be extended to their full size inserted by tabs (a feature I've never seen a Zero Wing figurine before).

In all, an excellent buy, and I certainly do so again. Unless you're a ModelMaker or you do manage to get your hands on a Arch Enemy series Gundam Wing Zero, is the model for you. Worth every penny. The same box comes with a velcro flap so that you can open the front without breaking the seal, if you are so inclined not to open the thing and play with a little (go, leave your inner child! You know that you like).

Gundam Wing: Blind Target

In the world of "gundam Wing" manga, there are three stories that give their version of the time from the TV series and "Endless Waltz" movie. They are "Ground Zero" (VIZ), "Battlefield of pacifists" (to be available from TOKYOPOP in 2002) and "Blind Target" (VIZ). And all these, "Blind Target" is probably the best of them.

Compared to "Ground Zero", "Blind Target" is more action-packed and probably more realistic. Both works are performed in shojo (girls) style of manga, but "Blind Target" to make all see their age, in contrast to "Ground Zero", where some characters looked almost 10 years old. While there is no mecha battles, involving the Gundams, the action plan in "Blind Target" is enough to satisfy all readers who were disappointed by the lack of action in "Ground Zero". The story is excellent, and it quite explain several things to take place later in "Endless Waltz".

While the "Ground Zero" shows the more emotional side of the "gundam Wing," "Blind Target" actually perfects the balance of both action and emotional characterization. Characters are not acting out of character, and the pacing is just perfect. The artwork is great. Some readers might find it strange when they see some people missing an eye, but the beautiful shojo style of the characters is enough to make readers ignore this for the most part. Finally, the "Blind Target" contains the famous (or infamous) kiss scene (or almost-kiss scene, if you believe) between Heero and Relena.

Unfortunately, there is one gripe I have with "Blind Target". Dispersed across the whole book is a page sections called Remixes, and these are basic "newspaper articles" to talk about some signs and examines some of the characters' relationships. The images can be found in these articles is terrible, because these images are originally from the TV series and movies and was originally in color. The transfer from color to black and white was very poorly done and some images are almost impossible to do. These articles are also the most likely places to find spelling errors, but there are not many. Luckily, the Remixes is not the main focus of the manga and can be ignored completely, although it would have been nice to see them done better.

All in all, "Blind Target" is an excellent manga Side Story in "gundam Wing" universe. Although both this and "Ground Zero" are good in their own right, I recommend this to "Ground Zero" any day. Just ignore the poor quality of the Remixes and be aware of teriffic story and pictures of the actual manga, and it's all there is to enjoy the "Blind Target".

The characters are all seen as we fanfic writers and / or readers see them as (although there is not much of a yaoi implications). Eliza purchased Naruto Itachi 14" Plush Figure V2 and recieved it in the mail. She adore the naruto series, and especially Itachi UChiha as a character, so she was thrilled to get this.

Itachi 14" Plush Figure V2 is cuddly and cute, which is what a plush should be!!

Unfortunately, there were a few flaws with it. This plush seems to be pretty fragile. When Eliza opened up the package, his shorts came unglued. This was with gentle care. Since his hair is cut in to pretty skinny strands, they are flimsy.

Other than that, Itachi 14" Plush Figure V2 is absolutely adorable.

Sean Whitmore bought Gundam Wing - Endless Waltz the day it came out and adored it instantly. But Sean Whitmore did not really have anything to say about it until watching the ending of another great anime series, Neon Genesis Evangelion. Both the TV and movie versions of that series angered me to no end, but they made me realize how great "Gundam Wing - Endless Waltz" is.

The ending of the "Gundam Wing" television series was not really that at all. Sure, the 'bad guys' were defeated, but anyone who thinks that's all that matters isn't a fan of good storytelling. "Gundam Wing - Endless Waltz" answers pretty much every question you might have about the fates of the characters, and Sean Whitmore does not mean just the Gundam pilots, either. Every important character of the series is brought into play, and even some not-so important ones. As icing on the cake, Gundam Wing - Endless Waltz also answers many(though not all) questions about the characters from before the start of the series.

The animation, characterization, and excellent soundtrack ("White Reflexion!") all make up for the fact that the plot is slightly silly and a little cliched. More of a bad guys versus good guys thing as opposed to the complexity of the series. But hey, it is a movie, how deep do you want them to get, here?

Two more reccomendations. Watch the movie version, as opposed to the OVA version. You will be pleased you did. It contains extended and all-new footage that really makes the story flow better, plus there's some great music in certain scenes that were silent in the OVA vesion. Secondly, and this is something Sean Whitmore never ever say about anime, watch it dubbed. No, Sean Whitmore is not insane. It is actually better, Sean Whitmore swear to God. Sean Whitmore has seen it in both languages, and simple lines (such as many of Heero's) just sounded better delivered in English.

Shadix said that Gundam Wing was a breakthrough in Gundam animation and brought even more fans to the Gundam World. Endless Waltz is the conclusion to the 50 episode saga, but can also stand alone without knowing too much about the series. The animation is great and the new gundam style is visually satisfying.

Having the OVA and the Theatrical Version in one is great, there are only a few differences.Like the different Mariemaia voice actress you can barely notice, the songs that are moved or removed, but if you are a hardcore fan it's great to watch. The extra scenes and the removing of the "episode"-like qualities in the movie version are excellent and barely even noticeable.

The only confusing part is that even in flashbacks dated during and before the origanal 50 episodes contain the NEW gundams.Shadix just like to think they had the gundams updated after the war and ignore the flashbacks.

All and all, a GREAT addition to the series. The characters have changed as they would have over a year of peace, and even more character development comes through, essential to a anime based on a series we watched them grow through.

I first saw Gundam Wing on Cartoon Network and loved it. The battle scenes were incredible and the interplay between the characters was as realistic as one could possibly hope for. At that time, I thought it the perfect heir to the Robotech universe.

I think Mobile Suit Gundam Wing - Complete Collection 1 must be best anime besides I think Mobile Suit Gundam Wing - Complete Collection 2. I know that after i read Vixenne Victorienne's review to this Mobile Suit Gundam Wing - Complete Collection 1. That was before Vixenne Victorienne really got into anime such RahXephon (probably the best of the transforming mecha shows), as well as other series like Le Chevalier d'Eon and Last Exile, that were far and away more sophisticated and better suited to an 'older' anime geek.

Vixenne Victorienne confess, the giant robot genre got old really fast.

Sometimes it is best to leave fond memories as such. Watching Gundam Wing again, Vixenne Victorienne came to realize just how much Vixenne Victorienne hated the main character Heero Yui. Within less than three episodes, Vixenne Victorienne totally hope that he would commit suicide as he so often (to the point of ridiculousness) planned to do in order to keep the Gundams from falling into enemy hands. The other characters who got on Vixenne Victorienne's last nerve were Wu-Fei Chang (who was obviously overdosing on Sun-Tzu); Quattre Raberba Winner (wasn't he supposed to be 'Arabic'?); Relina Dorlian and Dorothy Catalonia of the scary uni-brow made me roll Vixenne Victorienne's eyes. Vixenne Victorienne mean, why fall in love with a guy who tells you that he's going to kill you after you invite him to your birthday party?

Interestingly enough, it was actually the so-called 'bad guys' who still make this show worth watching. The idealistic Treize Kushrenada, a seeming throwback to a more chivalrous age; his cold and calculating hench-woman Lady Une (who later undergoes a most interesting transformation); Lucrezia Noin, the loyal Oz soldier who begins to question exactly where her loyalties lie...and with whom; and of course MY personal favourite character--the mysterious Lightning Baron, Zech Merquise (aka Millardo Peacecraft and Relina's brother). Some people thought the half-mask was cheesy, but Vixenne Victorienne thought it made him a very compelling and unique character.

The bad guys are why Vixenne Victorienne give this series a three; though Vixenne Victorienne admit Vixenne Victorienne does not think Vixenne Victorienne will be watching it ever again. Oh well,the memories remain.

This plushie came fast and I ordered him with Haruno Sakura on top of that. Came with a cool Naruto pin I put on my bag and this Japanese Gummy candy. It was really good.

Everything the picture looks like and looks great on my bed. the only problem is that the left pupil isn't centered very well but he barely even notice. Pretty durabl. One Piece - Season 1, First Voyage

After waiting for years to see One Piece get decent treatment in North America, Funi has finally delivered the goods in spades. The 13 episodes cover the beginning of Monkey D. Luffy 's quest to become the Pirate King, including presentations teammates Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Luffy and Children fateful encounter with his hero Shanks. The set ends mid-term "Kuro" arc, the band fight to protect a village being looted by pirates. To be continued in Volume 2.

As indicated above, this is not the dub 4Kids horrible, it is not a simple service dub like so many other animated shows are saddled. He custody in the script and action, making English adaptation equally valid and enjoyable as the original Japanese. The original music is intact and, even openings and for the faithful have English counterparts. There is a strong value of production all around.

About the only thing that prevents this game to be really "uncut and unedited" would have been billed the inclusion of the original One Piece logo on another angle (Funi uses their gold variation, which removes the caricature Luffy for a real "I"). But it's a small quibble about what is otherwise an outstanding ensemble.

Shows not much to get a second chance, and little return as good as this. I highly recommended to buy this One Piece - Season 1, First Voyage dvd.

Naruto: Original Soundtrack released on September 10, 2005. Six people give it 5 stars rating. It is a group of soft music of this great series. All, except the first and last songs are instrumental. The last track (Wind) is really exceptional, and the main reason why I bought the CD. I simply wish I could understand what the hell is the singer say ... "Do not cry with false or fears" - what on earth does this mean? Anyway, some instrumentals are relatively short "mood" songs that are not necessarily great listening on their own, but there are at least 6 or 7 instrumental really nice, IMHO. I do not want to spend $ 50, but I would certainly buy a used copy for $ 6, which is exactly what I did. And it makes me smile.

Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow

Now I have write some review of this naruto movie. The story are...
In a word, Naruto and his team are responsible for protecting an actress during the filming of his latest film. But like all the characters Naruto, this actress has some skeletons in its closet and it was only a matter of time until his past catches up with her.

The film keeps the general style of the series without getting too caught up in things like fight scenes. As is canon series counterpart, the film is doing a good job of things like a good back-stories and characters.

My only complaint nitpicky on the film itself is that one can say that the authors have tried to cram in all super attack, it was available for the function characters (Kakashi and Sasuke sharingan; Naruto Mass Shadow Clones; Sakura same side struggling near the beginning of the film!). The character designs for the wicked and other film-only characters are not the best (the princess' is probably the best of all new characters), but the back-story and bizarre quirks are certainly for it.

Somewhat surprisingly, this film is also a good part of the series (as far as I know). Naruto the flashbacks in the series and Sasuke always be there shows that the film is at the time just after Tsunade arrives in the village.

Regarding the animation, you can certainly say that the film won the royal treatment in this department. You can say, especially during the Chidori / wolf scene. And, of course, like all the shows animation, image quality is beautiful. The background music also helps most of the memorable music of the series as well as some new songs of their own.

One thing I was worried when ordering on this DVD is it the aspect ratio. See, the movie was filmed to be shown in cinemas, so that the aspect ratio is large. Again, rest assured that this version is the widescreen version and, rather than being based cropped full-screen TV monitors. And to make things better, it is in anamorphic widescreen, which means that if you have a widescreen TV, the film will automatically be able to screen size (as in, without black bars top and bottom of the screen). A much better solution than the alternative of setting up your big screen TV to zoom in to eliminate the black bands, while keeping the rest of the image, since that would in turn cut a portion of the sub - how and slightly blurred image.

To make the film today, I was very worried about the film only the dubbed version. Rest assured that there is a Japanese version subbed available. Now, I do not have close knowledge about the Japanese language, but it seems that the only changes under-wise were conducted in a spirit of "American-tion" (ie: the Deputy read the first name before last name and excluding suffixes like "-san" and "-chan"), but nothing major.

And for those interested in dub, based on a scene that I saw it, it seems that what they have done a good job keeping close to the script and only a few changes in an effort to make the flow of prose and better for the movement of the mouth arrivals.

It certainly would have helped if they stressed that the dubbing and underdevelopment were available on the box art. When buying, I was completely in it whether this release had two versions or not!

I would not have given this version five stars if it did not feature at least one legitimate - a 10-ish minute short with Naruto and most other Genin. The history of Konohagakure mainly on the holding of a tournament low among young ninjas. The only problem is that poor ol 'Naruto and constipation is forced to keep for the entire tournament.

The court is also available in dubbing and sub and is large, so I'm assuming that this was played before the film when shown in cinemas in Japan (a bit like Pikachu vacation before playing the Pokemon movie). My only complaint is that unlike the film itself, not short-anamorphic, so your options for the look in while maintaining its aspect ratio (on a big screen TV) are limited to 4:3 (full screen). Or is that you can extend the screen or zoom in to remove those darn black bars. The problem with zoom is that it means that the Subcommittee will also be cut slightly for far ... it is not anamorphic. A slight pain, but still worthy of five stars.

You May be one of those fans who have downloaded the film before Viz has come around to distribute it here in the USA ... May if you ask why you should buy in the first place? Well, the way I see, you are fundamentally misunderstood the welfare of the series if you do not! Downloading the episodes when they are available is one thing, but you must show your love for the series by purchasing official once they are available on DVD. It is always good to have a hard copy outside your computer.

In conclusion, "Naruto The Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Show" is certainly worth buying if you are a subtitle or dub an English type of fan. It's quite a fan could expect from the concert series of mesh in one hour and 35 minute.

Naruto OVA - The Lost Story was very good for me,without adding any unrest. Its about 40 minutes and it contains the same elements that make Naruto series watchable and adorable. Naruto ova has a pretty decent comedy and action scenes are very good. If your new to Naruto I recommend at least vol.1 control of the series before coming to what you can have some type of agreement. The DVD also has the trailer of the film Naruto; Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow. It is not perfect, but its definitely good.

First I must speak of light Figurne. What could you put off making the Limited Edition Death Note 2 flight is the cost, although this is not much more than one without the figure some of you perhaps not what you have to pay a little more, but believe me, it's worth it, theres a great feeling to know that there are only 1500 of something in the world, and you have one. (So, what I say, if you can try to get this before it is sold, you may not get another chance)

With vol 1 you got a Ryuk figure, compared the light is a lot smaller than Ryuk. Also, because his hand is sticking to paint the finger tips could be increased slightly in the package. Other than that it is high.

This flight episodes 5-8 and a lot happens in them. The light must reject the FBI agents. The team on the case Kira L finally meet face to face and it is not quite what they thought it would be. And now, not just light with an offer L listening to his home, but May someone know something about "Kira" power that could help get L that much closer to knowing who is really Kira. The worst of all poor Ryuk to go without his loverly apples! But the best piece is the latest episode prevew ep disc, you want to do the next one even more.

Extras: English voice actor intervies and recrding sessions (this time is L) If you're like me you do not just that actors have not the faintest idea what they're talking about, you think "My God, if you want to know what happens next if misread the manga "(and if you havn't read yet eather, you should)

My only complaint was I had a new glue belt buckle and an end to his Death Note chain with hot glue, as they had fallen after a month of cuddling with him. He did not have his heart-dangling-chain earring, so I intend to do my own for him. I saw a Ryuk stuffed with an earring, but I do not think it does Ryuk to justice as long as it does, there is also another version exactly like this, it is only held an apple, but there is currently no (stock) floating around the Net.

Death Note, Volume 3 (Comic)

Death Note is easily the best manga I've ever read, and although my list is not really huge (one manga Shonen Jump, FLCL, Samurai Champloo) I am still fairly confident in saying that the 'future, I will not find something to take Death Note that instead of my favorites. Based on the popular mythology and mixing a bit of Japanese folklore, Death Note has more than enough to appeal to any fan of manga, while being so well written that any reader of comic books can take this place and read without difficulty.

In volume three, with L Light battle escalates. The light, or Kira, now has no life to speak of because of surveillance cameras hidden throughout his room and his house. And if it was not difficult enough, the light is finally the opportunity to meet face to face L, and it can not do anything to the mysterious genius, who willingly shares information, including his identity. But the best part of this volume is towards the end, when Kira Spree begins a murder and shows that now he has the ability of the Shinigami Eyes, a Light had initially refused earlier in the story make the pain of losing half his lifetime. But why did he accept it now, and it is even light, which is responsible for the seemingly senseless murder taking place in front of a television station?

In volume one and two, it was a difficult process to try to determine who exactly encouraged. Is it that we rejoice for light, which has a noble-reasoning behind its actions, or should encourage us to L, who wants nothing more than to stop a madman before someone else, even criminals, without reasonable Kira died at the hands? In this volume, it is easy to encourage both of them, especially as the light has joined the team of experts to capture Kira. The police are good in this volume, and nowhere is this clearer than in the last chapters.

Death Note has a way of playing with your emotions as you read. L You want to succeed, and you want for Kira to continue to allude. Although this volume is far from certain that it is still there, and it makes the book difficult to put down because of that. (I'm ashamed to say that I read this book from beginning to end of the day I had, fortunately, does the laundry as possible.) I have not yet found another manga that I did that I will say that if you have preferred a manga there that you can not get enough, consider resuming Death Note, this is the same way. Also, if you like the art of Hikaru no Go, Death Note has been designed by the same artist, alone with a style more mature than him.
